I mean, we got everything from a country music legend to, like, computer chips that think faster than my truck idles. I was scrolling through the feed with my coffee, and I nearly choked on a donut hole. So let’s just jump right in, because there’s a lot to unpack here, and I ain’t got all day. Heh. Hhh, okay, that's something. First up, and I gotta say, this one hit me right in the gut. Dolly Parton has died. Now, I know this is a tech show, but come on. That woman was a national treasure, a hundred and forty six hundred and eighty upvotes on the story, and every single one of them is a broken heart. She was more than just music; she was pure class, and she gave away more books than I’ve ever read. It’s a rough way to start the morning, but we gotta keep moving. Second, Apple’s dropping some serious hardware. They introduced the M6 and the M5 Ultra, and I guess the M5 is for the regular folks, and the M6 is for the folks who edit movies in their sleep. Nitter and XCancel, those little tools that let you see tweets without all the junk, they got cease and desist letters. Nine hundred and forty nine upvotes, and it’s a shame. And finally, the big one. OpenAI Jalapeño is supposedly better than Nvidia Blackwell. Four hundred and eighty six upvotes, and I’m not gonna pretend I understand the tech, but I like the name. Jalapeño, that’s got some kick to it. They say it’s faster and cheaper, and if that’s true, then maybe my next computer won’t sound like a lawnmower.
